New Project: Documentary/video blog
By Talia Amour
Over a year ago I started a video blog/documentary about my journey before during and after my ranch experiences. I have been wanting to do something with it for a while so I decided to find someone to help me.
I posted a job ad and got numerous responses. I presented my project vaguely hoping not to attract any weirdos I found someone interested in working with me and we are going to meet soon. I understand they are great at shaping the story and that is exactly what I need, someone to help bring the story together. I am excited. Then,I got to thinking, it’s not just about my story it’s about a lot of people’s story.
There is such a strong taboo around being involving the sex/adult entertainment industry. Most of us face discrimination everyday from strangers or even the people closest to us. Individuals and groups can be discriminated against for all kinds of reasons. It is mostly some judgement in our heads we make up about some one or something that makes us treat them differently or think differently of them.
Over history the journey of valuing yourself, standing firm in your beliefs, regardless of adversaries attacks, has always been an inspiring story. Those are the stories that help us take a breath before we pass another judgement on ourselves and others. Those stories give us permission to embrace our own energy and let it shine.
Judgment comes in two forms:
acceptance/positive/approval
rejection/negative/disapproval
All people judge and get judged even unconsciously everyday.
What would our lives be like if we were able to transcend some of this judgement of ourselves and of each other?
Is anything really
good
or
bad?
it just is.
Perspective.
I always try to operate from a place of nonjudgement but as a human I know I can fall unconscious just like any one else, but if we can get back sooner rather than later, to that place of nonjudgement,
release any shame, blame, guilt and anything else holding us back
we will all experience a more complete sense of balance and peace.
Each person has their own journey of personal growth and transformation. Every ones’ story is unique and inspiring in its own way. I just wanna share some of mine I have a feeling that what I think my blog/documentary is about, is not really what it is about at all….I am excited to see what manifests!
